Well you see that is what I have said all along, NEXT season is the season where all of our expectations will be the same. Rich, you, me, Ken Bates and, the players and, believe it or not, Blackwell himself. Next season was ALWAYS the season that we should be doing it and there be no excuses.
I don't for one second that will appease Rich though, he always seems more intent in trying to justify snap judgements he makes, and that colours everything else he will ever say about that person again. I predict here and now that if KB produces a wonderfully flowing football team and we walk the league we will hear stuff like "yeah well he spent more money than anyone else so anyone could have done that, and anyway he was lucky he got that new assistant in (or insert any number of excuses).
