I don't think so.  You can only really red card him for 'preventing a goal
scoring opportunity'.. how can that be the case if they scored?

I think he should have allowed the goal and yellow carded Lehman for
ungentlemanly conduct.

BUT, the ref had ALREADY blown for the foul before the goal was scored so he had no choice but to not allow the goal because he'd whistled for a halt in play. I believe that means he HAD to send Lehmans off too. He's admitted he blew too early but it's too late now. As for refs being lax early doors to ensure the game isn't spoilt for the viewing public, I don't know how everyone else felt but I was sure that was a stone cold penalty we should have been given in the first PNE game in the first few mins and the ref bottled it simply because it was so early on.
