I certainly got my whack off the police at Deportive Coruna - was stood outside
the one turnstile, bit of shoving and police just went for it - I got a jab in
my side, smiled as it did not hurt( i have got a lack of feeling there due to
operation) - copper not impressed and tried to bring wooden stick onto my head.
Luckily I got my arm up in time and took the blow there before he began hitting
others - got a lovely bruise on my forearmRemember two lads on the minibus back
to airport who both had both arms bandaged up due to police mistreatment -
strange in a way since there had been no trouble all day and the locals were
very friendly indeed - recall some locals lining the streets and applauding as
all our buses and coaches went past after the game

I think it was Valencia where the Spanish police walked along the line of Leeds
fans waiting to go in and hit people at random. It seemed like they were trying
to provoke a row. Or was that Deportivo?
