True. We avoided a few armed gangs pre-match who were "roming" about (get it?!) on the look out for Leeds fans on the way to the game. They were pretty cowardly tho and even if we were outnumbered, as they moved in towards us you just ran a few steps towards them they backed off - waiting to pick stragglers off. Luckily we got to the ground unscathed. Police tended to look the other way and were very handy with their batons after the match. We met up later with some lads, one of whom had been shot by a flare gun from short range on the way to the ground. The flare had gone through his leather jacket and stuck to his side. While he was coping with this his 15 year-old son got stabbed and kicked about when he was on the floor. Not good. _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: https://mailman.gn.apc.org/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] Find us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/leedslist/ FLAME WARS 'R US
