The kylix debugger was exactly the same borland debugger as in Delphi, just recompiled for Linux.

Taking into account the small community, FPC/Lazarus do an extremely good job.

No, their idea of what is important simply differs from yours.

It's the same problem as some men preferring blondes, others preferring 
redheads:
They will never agree on who is the most beautiful woman.
