There is no work lost. I exported the recent translation from pootle, merged them with the recent template I got from trunk (2018-11-12) and imported the merged version back to pootle. I started with languages where person are willing to do the translation work. I do the work manually for each language and test whether it builds. Dick translated for NL 100 % AOO40Ui and AOO40Help, Aivaras 100 % AOO40UI for LT and Matthias works at the German (DE) translation. So I think technical way is ok and works.
