Resolving this problem in Asterisk is possible but much involved as the incoming rings will occupy both channels. Ignoring the ring is difficult. I am trying to figure out if upgrading to a -3 system (or higher if I get newer software) is worthwhile. Are there features in the newer systems that will help with what I am trying to do?
