My opinion would be to go new TDA100 or 200 depending on the amount of old sets you have. Repair would be expensive and not worth it, in my opinion. Also, the client should look at the insurance policy. I had a client get a new system with new phones, and it was all covered due to a power hit. Bunch of lawyers, so the insurance company caved quickly. I had a power failure that seemed to take my KX-TD1232-1 with it and caused a transformer fire out on the poll. Most of the system works but my 101 extension powers on and off about every 1-2 seconds. My wireless handset won't light up the CO leds. I think I lost a few proprietary phones though I cannot be certain what is a PBX and what is phone damage. My question for the collective wisdom is whether it is worth repairing the system or getting a new one. I need to preserve the proprietary handsets.
