For that short a run, I'd use some sort of marine cable.

Actually icky pic would do just fine.....

I remember the local BOC running standard drop wire underwater to a few 
island homes here several years ago, and we have many freeze/thaw cycles 
here in the Northeast....lasted "forever"...
