That's PRI......illegal number,etc. fast busy. All that function of
intercept is a function of analog lines. It has to do with setup and
teardowm of
the PRI (or BRI for that matter) call.
Call status message, call alert message, and all those signalling situations
are a function of the D channel and you don't get the translation like you
used to. Besides intercept is a switching function of the ESS. Illegal,
disco'd numbers, etc. transfer the call to a recording, i.e. another port on
the switch. where do you think that message came from? PRI just dumps the
call.
