When I first heard "no phantoms" in class, I thought "oh no...I use them all the time!" Turns out ICD buttons take care of it. The ICD groups do everything the phantoms did plus more... EXCEPT you are limited in number to 64 of them (I think). I've never needed more than 30 or so but I could see the need happening. While many things in the TDA are not what I would have hoped, I find it can do a better job than the TD1232 everytime. (The TDA50, though, leaves a lot more to be desired).
