The Panasonic uses channels 1-8 in the 2.4ghz realm. Not sure about 802.11g,
but I do know with 802.11b, you have to set the channels to either 9 or 11,
or anything above 8. This has been verified by several sources from
Panasonic, so trust me, really, no really...
