Yes I have had various problems with the wireless portable stations.

1. A through walk test and site plan is necessary.
2. Do NOT place the antennas or PS under or near commercial cellular
antennas. They will drop calls no matter how strong the signal is.
3. If the units are dropping calls try mounting the antenna up side
down. This directs the cone downward and appears to help in some cases.
4. Getting more than 20 feet away from a 802 device seems to solve all
sorts of problems.
5. Homes that have Crestron systems installed throughout seem to have
some issues with the signals.
6. Try to mount the antenna as high up and out of the way as possible!

The interference will likely cause you to drop calls.

Sincerely,
Henry

Subject: KX-T: TAW cells - Interfere with 802.11b/g?

I am considering adding a KX-T0141 cell w/ some wireless phones. Since
they operate at 2.4ghz, has anyone had problems with mutual interference
with 802.11b/g wireless networks? The installation manual talks only
about moving the equipment away from 802.11b/g stuff to prevent
interference to the phones. Does this also solve interference problems
to the wireless networking?
