The NO ANSWER message covers all the others. Just don't record a busy
message.

Video Tape Recorder???

No it's "Voicemail TRansfer"
Very valuable in the newer systems. Press VTR plus the ext# to send a call
direct to a voicemail box.
The 624-3 has it. On the 123211 I think you need to transfer, dial the vm
ext#, then enter the #6 and box number then hang up quick so the caller
hears the box message...

Doing it yourself can be quite a challenge and sometimes even fun.
Since phone systems are not designed to be consumer friendly (heck, they're
not even pro-installer friendly) it will be hard to find any coordinated
resource other than what individuals might put together out of the kindness
of their hearts. Every manufacturer does things differently and every
customer wants their system set up differently. I suppose if Microsoft and
Apple made phones systems, there might a bit more commonality. As it is,
throw a question out to this list from time to time and you can pick up some
good tips.
