Day/Night with the Analog 123211D well, some general concepts might help to understand this... Since the TVS and the 123211 cannot integrate their clocks, they both have two separate day/night setups. The KSU day/night affects the way the phones ring, and how quickly the vm answers. The TVS day/night will change the greeting, only according to its preprogrammed schedule (or no change if it is not programmed) So, If you want the TVS to answer immediately during night mode, set the voicemail ports to either immediate ring for night, OR set the lines to DIL (direct in line) into the tvs during night. prog 52 "CO MODE NIGHT" does this Now you can turn the night mode on or off either with a code or night button, OR by the programmed schedule in the KSU (or by both). At lunch or during employee meetings, etc, you can turn on night mode (782# or whatever- I think that is right) and turn it off when done. And you can have it come on at 5pm and go off the next morning via the schedule. In the TVS, it will answer according to the menus you program to answer for each port. EACH PORT has day and night settings. It will only use the day setting unless you program a schedule in to do automatic switching. Program a schedule, and a different night menu, then that will change according to the schedule. The menu/greeting will NOT change just because you put the KSU into night mode- the vm will ONLY change according to its schedule. So if you put the KSU in to night mode for lunch, then the TVS will answer immediately, but still play the day time greeting. Caveat- you will now have to keep both the KSU and the TVS clock set properly to make sure they run right More below: V V V V > > > > 1. Is this possible? > On the digitals you can set them to ring at the same time, I don't think you can do that on the 123211. The A624 maybe. Other option is to put them into a ring group (can the 123211 do that? check under hunting type) and set the menu to ring that number. _________________________________________________________________ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt
