The low end Netscreen 5XT runs around $499. The high end units go on up past 20k. The low end unit has a good deal of what the high end ones do. Netscreen certification runs around $10k, not needed unless you a doing some complex things with encrypted links and multi-site monitoring.
They have limited intrusion detection on low end units, for both inbound and outbound traffic. It will generate alarm reports to you via email or whatever. I have used these multiple times to forward to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Complete secure VPN, Radius connectivity, etc. They are the hot firewall company at the moment. The recently announced a deal with Trend Micro. Why does the WAN connection need to be reset, shouldn't the DSL modem recover? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul H.
