Oh boy! I bet this is going to be a hot thread! First, don.t get me wrong - like most of us here, I too like Panasonic. None (?) of us here are Panasonic employees, however, and our success depends on providing and supporting the best solutions - and for a long time, that included Panasonic products.
I've had the feeling that Panasonic has been letting their phone offerings slide for at least the past 2 - 3 years. Some features should have been old hat years ago - like integration of Caller ID and Distinctive Ring, flash upgradable firmware, more than 3 way conferencing, CTI. Bob Puff's posting on Multitech VOIP support got me excited for a second - I envisioned something like a KX-TDvoip card that added 4 COs as VOIP with an RJ45 on the side. Nope, just a little marketing hype. Ads that I might have thrown straight in the trash are now catching my interest, so Panasonic had better catch up to their competitors soon.
