I posted a previous version of this and nobody replied with an answer. I would appreciate more feedback if you know ANYHTING about this problem. Here's the scenario:
- client complained that VM had crashed - I had them power cycle, and things were fine - The next week, same thing, and no recovery through power cycling - Connected w/ HyperTerm, and got message on boot that no system was found. - Sent into Panasonic, and they replaced HDD. - Re-Installed, connected, and same message. - Called Panasonic, and in a condescending voice, the tech asked, "Didn't you turn the rotary switch to 5?" - Went back, turned rotary to 5, booted up, and same thing. If anyone has gone through this, I would apprecite any info you may be able to lend. I don't know if this is something I should be worried about fixing, or if I should box it up and send it back to Panasonic.
