I posted the 1st installment of this problem a few days ago. I though we had
port #7 assigned as VM port, along with #8. Today I verified that #8 was the
only one showing, from the displayphone(not jsut from programmator). This
verification was made after a powerdown of a minute or so. I am testing by
plugging a system phone directly into port #7 of the KSU, just to make sure.
I get power to the phone, which results in digit tones, and beeps for a few
of the function buttons, but no active COs and no system tome when off-hook
to intercom. IT is not assigned as a cordless or DSS. Any ideas? If it's
just dead, and since I'm not certified, what's next? Does my client have to
be w/o a KSU while this one is sent in, or are there modular replacement
parts that can be ordered and swapped? Thanks for any help you may be able
to lend.
