The other thing about the TA series is the fact you must press intercom 
before dialing an extension or feature, the digitals are "live" all the time, 
and allow true one-touch feature or dss selection.  That's a BIG feature 
here, since most of the people I deal with are in a hurry, and want something 
simple that they don't have to think about.  Yes, I'm talking hotels and 
realtors.

I've sold maybe 2 TA systems, and they where replacements for 30810's and 
61610's so the customer could have voicemail.  And besides, us dealers don't 
get credit for the TA's.

Voicemail integration is better on the digitals, uses less ports, which is a 
BIG deal here also.

other case in point:

I've had to use an extension on a TA624 for operator ring so anyone could 
grab the call.  I could have used an extension group as a ring group without 
using up resources.  It cost the customer a loud ringer, an extension, and 
wiring to hookup the bell, when it would have cost nothing on the digital.
