Now there's the group I know and love so well :-).

Let's start with the original request.

O.K. I have Pana software on MY laptop. I get it from Panasonic about
once a quarter. So now we think, Hmmm, here's someone LOOKING for Pana
software(or is that softwr :-)) and he "cant get it from panasonic. Why?
They SEND mine without asking (BTW nice dealer kit huh?).

Short response, I didn't respond. Joe Childs did, pointing out that the
"end user" WIN based software is available and then it got ugly (or normal)
from there.

YES Virginia, I KNOW there are end users, dealers, lurkers, and who knows
who else on this list. Trust me, most dealers paid big bux to "go to Pana
school" and get certified. I didn't say learn anything, but attendance
counts in this case. I have given ONE copy of the software to my
customer...a very good friend. Why would I GIVE it to anyone on this list?
Hey, for free, log into Panasonic's dealer website and get your own
copy....if you can.

I'm not trying to be mean or protective. Lord knows, I have enough work,
today, to keep me busy.

So don't jump in here and tell me what a horrible person I am for not
GIVING you a copy of something that is not mine to give. That's been
cussed and discussed here before. I don't know "dslct" from Adam and if I
did, it wouldn't matter. I don't own the rights to the KXT programming aid
and I certanily would't just blindly send it to him for any reason.

You "I have the right to the software" people have to remember one thing.
What the hell good is the software for your single system? Oh, I forgot,
blanket speed dial changes :-).

Honest, it might make you all feel warm and fuzzy, but it only is
worthwhile if you are going to do more than one of the same type system.

Or maybe I don't have a clue, but then it won't be the first time.
