Help!
I am in need of both a new propellor and nose gear assembly. Had a nose gear collapse on my KR2S N1852Z yesterday while taxiing. So, it wasn't too bad on the airplane except for nose gear and prop. Looks like the original nose gear failed at the lower assembly. The through-bolt sheared. I am going to take it apart, but not sure I can fix it. I will probably need a replacement lower nose assembly. It is the "Diehl" nose gear. I am pretty sure they are no longer selling them. Luckily, Griff Pickett has a replacement nose strut I can use. Same for a propeller, I had a Sterba LH 54x54 on my VW Revmaster Engine. It worked great. I would like something similar if possible. I know Ed Sterba is out of business as well.
