Jean-Charles,

In France, you will certainly find 160-180 g/m² sergé glass cloth, you may also consider a top layer of 45-50 g/m² taffetas glass cloth.

Stéfan

I saw the cloth you told about on AircraftSpruce.com but not on AircraftSpruce.eu. As you gave the specs of the cloth I will find it. La Rochelle is one of the most important marina in France and there are many shipyards. If I can't find local I can always order directly from AS.com

Jean-Charles.

If the glass cloth that Colin suggested is not available locally, here is the material description for the "KR cloth" sold by A.S. eu.  Some local supplier might be able to match the clothe.

5.85 oz./sq. yd. Lightweight Boat or Tooling Cloth. Plain Weave. Thread Count 18 x 18. Breaking Strength 250 x 250 lb./in. Finished Weight 5.64 oz./sq. yd. Thickness .009" as used on KR Aircraft. (60" Width)
