Thanks to all that replied with an offer to participate. We generally
have 4 time slots for forums, 10:00/2:00 on Friday and Saturday. I
think we could actually fill another slot that we've never used and that
would be 6:30 / 7:300 on Friday evening that would still leave time for
the campfire story telling. That would give those traveling thousands
of miles to attend the greatest exposure to building and flying a KR.
Those ideas and a ramp overview given by each pilot about the KR they
flew to the Gathering will more than fill the schedule.
Time to break the news to the family that you will be attending the
Gathering, make motel reservations unless you plan to camp on the field,
get the KR in shape for the trip, check the tires on the vehicle and do
an oil change, buy a clean pack of underwear, and whatever else needs
doing before the big event.
