You are right, that undoubtedly added extra weight. What are you seeing for 
climb and cruise and what prop are you using?

easily just by sticking to the plan layup schedule.  Mine has the entire boat 
wrapped in a layer,  multiple layers on the wings.  It also has GPAS 1776 with
