The FAA is proposing rule changes for "light sport" in the USA. Of interest to KR builders, many have asked in the past, is the required stall speed. The proposed change would set the stall speed at 54 knots, easily placing the KR in the light sport category. I don't remember them saying anything about max speed. Am I missing something here or is there really a Santa Clause?
