Thanks to all who provided feedback to my question regarding EGT sensors. Good responses and food for thought. I weas hoping someone had found a way to clamp sensors to the exhaust stacks for EGT. I will be going with O2 sensors in the exhaust with a panel mounted guage for leaning the mixture. Thinking I might go with CHT sensors in the original location( one per side) Simpler, holes already there. I can always add more sensors later if this arrangement proves inadequate. Mark listed good reasons for EGT and CHT sensors for each cylinder. I might go to that arrangement later but for now I'll try the simpler set up as suggested by Craig.(Thanks Craig) Hopefully this will work out and move this project closer to completion. Regards to all and keep building ! Jim Litchfield East coast.
