That process should be used to determine the arm of any item used in W&B calculations.  A change in the seat-back angle will change the "arm" for pilot / passenger , a baggage area extending further in to the tail will change the arm for baggage, etc.. Your KR is not a cookie cutter factory certified airplane.  It is one of a kind and must be treated as such.
