That would be nice. I believe that my KR1 (with most of the longer KR2 wing
skins) and if fixed gear, will be LSA spec.

Of course I can just stay with the new BsicMed which I qualify for, and
have retracts and even a in-flight variable prop (and night flight), so its
a toss up.

If they bump up LSA it would cover more spam cans which is the larger
benefit. I believe they left those out so as to incentivise new modern
light airplane manufacturing so it was a noble and even somewhat successful
plan.

But now is the time to evolve it I think...

and who knows, in 20 years time light planes may be required to have
autonomy (govt override lol) with hand flying an optional feature!
