Recently, when I mentioned I had a fuel leak in my left wing there was
some concern expressed about using cork gaskets with 100LL. It finally
struck me that I have some (one) photo to share that indicates there is
no compatibility problems. The supplier has switched from cork to
rubber for the probe but the original cork gasket went 15 years before
developing a problem, small that it was. The gasket was certainly not
swollen but flat as a pancake. The photo at the following link is of my
vented fuel caps with cork gasket that also have a 15 year exposure to
mostly 100LL.

I can't explain what the problem was with the issue mentioned but I
suspect it had little to do with cork / 100LL
As always, YRMV........
