Fortunately, for us, most all the testing has been done "real world" and
we can build a safe flying machine when following the plans on the basic
structure. The only "wind tunnel" testing ever done on the KR was the
new wing design and that too has been proven "real world". Real world
testing has brought us to the KR2S which is a perfectly safe, fun, and
affordable airplane. The more a builder deviates from that the longer
the build time and the more uncertain and "experimental" the design.
