Almost anything that will cover the gap will work. Some make a
fiberglass strip, some use tape, and I used "roof flashing" cut in half
and attached with screws. I laid up a strip of glass but didn't like
the way it turned out. A quick trip to the hardware store had me
flying. zoom in on photo for a better picture.
