Hi,

Last few days the weather in the Netherlands was good so I took our baby in the 
air after a few months. I have to go alone because of the corona virus my dad 
needs to stay at home. I did 2 session about 1:10 uur each.

It was good to have the feelings again. I did Some training, 360`s,  steep 
turns,  accelerating to 150 kts and back to 70kts and again to higer speeds. I 
am feelings every hour more and more relax in the KR2.


Oil cooling 

I did a modification to the oil cooling  and the temp is now 108 degr c. (In 
cruise 130 Outside 4degr c) So I did won a few degre but for the summer I need 
to goo down a few more degree. I have one more idea to do. If this is not 
werking I need to go for the 2end oil cooler.


Landings,

The landings  (4 times) feelings more relax, but due to my longer nose section 
I make everytime the same mistake to drop the nose when the Main gear touch 
down. I think I want to have a good view to the runway. I need more practice I 
think.


Nose down from first flight.

The plane wants to go nose down from the first flight so we installed a fixed 
trimtab on the elevator. Problem solved. I think we made the elevator a bit to 
heavy, so the weight of the ellevator is forcing the nose down.....I think. I 
designed a bracket (at my push pull bar for the elevator) that can picknick up 
a few Springs. The idea was that 2 spring will be oke to do the job. But after 
a test flight (I removed the fixed trimtab) the plane is going again a bit nose 
down at 80 kts. I need only a bit stick force to keep the plane straight, from 
80 kts and higher the original trimtab is efficient enough. Next flight I will 
install an extra spring, I think the problem is than solved.


I need to make an extra muffler because the plane is a bit to noisy. This will 
be the next  to take care off.

Let you know if I have new experiance.
