The bays in the majority of the plane (especially in the back) or 14" each. I'm advocating stretching the plane another 14", although that will cost a little extra weight (very little), and another 4x4 of plywood (or maybe two). There's probably enough 5/8 x 5/8 stock to work in the rest, and the longerons (if the KR2S wood kit is ordered from Aircraft Spruce or Wicks). It wouldn't hurt to order a few feet of that while ordering plywood though. This also allows the normal length horizontal stabilizer rather than stretching it from 6' to 7' (roughly). The new tail airfoil can be used, either way, but the NACA one with the airfoil templates will need a taller spar.
