Thanks for the observation guys. The tubing I used is from AS&S part number
05-12488. This is NSR tubing rated for 2120 lb burst pressure with a wall
thickness of .050 and recommended for use with hydraulic brake lines. It
has a minimum bend radius of one inch. It is also rated for flexural
fatigue and vibration. It will not become brittle and is self
extinguishing. I agree with Mark L on his comment on the angle and a
pressure test will be conducted before putting that in use. I had already
put that on my list prior to this email. On my previous KR the tubing I
used was standard 1/4 Poly-flo tubing and I never had a leak with it. I
would be more concerned using either steel or aluminum in this application
due to the constant movement between the caliper and the gear leg causing a
crack in the tubing since neither are flexible.
