JB Weld is NOT ALCOHOL/ETHANOL PROOF.. I sealed some small holes in the bottom of an aluminum tank and no problem for over a year. Then, a "weep" started? Cleaned it up and put more JB Weld in place and things were fine, for a while. Then, the "weep" started again? Didn't make any sense so I called JB Weld. Guess what, it is impervious to every kind of fuel BUT NOT IF IT HAS ALCOHOL/ETHANOL.. I assume I was lucky in not getting any ethanol auto fuel for a long time and then a local station managed to get a load of ethanol fuel mixed into their NO ethanol tank!
So, beware!!
