"Which model servo is being used?"

Hello Jim,

It really depends on your geometry. I used the 7A for mine but I am also using
the plans recommended RC control arm. It is fairly small with multiple holes so
you can adjust the amount of travel the trim tab will have. I don't know if
there is a recommended amount of trailing edge travel like there is for the
other control surfaces but I bet it isn't much more than an inch either way.
And of course this will depend on the actual size of your tab too. I also have
the 12A for my cowl flaps because I needed that much travel but again my
geometry ends up multiplying the distance to several inches at the cowl flap
trailing edge. One thing to know about the 12A is that the brass jack screw
travels in and out of the back of the case. Go full sweep in one direction and
there is an open hole. Go to the opposite extreme and the threaded jack screw
is exposed outside the case. May not be a big deal for trim applications but
under the cowl and mounted vertically I made a little cover so that it isn't
really exposed or anything could fall into it.
