I just made two push rods for my auto pilot and will be making my aileron' push rods shortly. Wicks had all the stuff you need. All you need is to order R3/8X083-T6 tubing. Two male rod ends. Item # XM3 and a couple of jam nuts. Cut your tube to length. Drill the ends of the tube with a #3 drill bit. A 7/32" drill bit will also work. Tap the ends with a 1/4-28 tap. Then screw in the rod ends with the jam nuts. My tech advisor likes to do it like Larry said. The problem with that way it's twice as expensive.
