Just 4 bolts with a crush plate on each side of the firewall. You can see one in the photo https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/32133949/IMG_8531.JPG just below the pilot's right pedal. The crush plate is 1/8" steel and about 2 1/2" X 3" in size. The firewall will break away before the bolts fail. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/32133949/100_1231.JPG
