Find the chart for the bolts you intend to use (such as http://www.almabolt.com/pages/catalog/bolts/proofloadtensile.htm ) and check the tensile strength. I'm betting that many other airframe parts will fail before a good quality bolt lets go. It's been many years ago but I recall using standard aircraft bolts from Wick's in 3/8" size of the correct length for my mount for the 0-200. Important to put a crush plate on each side of the firewall as to not crush the wood.
