I have the Zenith on my Great Plains 2180. It is pretty much a bolt it on and
go carb. The mixture control is not set up to allow for an easy in cockpit
mixture control but I have seen guys build a type of cable operated remote
mixture control. I am not even sure if Great Plains or any supplier builds a
remote mixture control kit.

Since fuel burn and any over rich or over lean has never been a concern, I have
never messed with the idea of adding a cockpit mixture control.

In my opinion, Steve Bennett is the expert when it comes to the Zenith carb.
Steve and his wife Linda are true old school customer service first people. I
could not make a better recommendation if you are looking to do a VW engine and
or a Zenith carb.

Does anyone have any experience with the Zenith carbs for VW based engines?
Anyone currently running a Zenith?  Pros and Cons.
