Hi Dustin,

The plane I referred to is in the eastern states, about 2500 miles away. The
owner said he would send me details when he got a moment. So far he hasn't
had that moment and I am not going to push for it. I will however ask if he
minds sharing his info and will get back to you. The assembly is on a
taildragger, powered by VW. Ron Easson's was a tricycle but a large amount
of the floor was modified to fit the nosewheel. Which is where I am doing
the sums as I won't be cutting away any structure. Otherwise they were
similar, retracting sideways, Beechcraft style.
Give me some time and I'll get my ideas on paper and scanned to you.

 I would appreciate some more details on the plane you mentioned. If all
else fails im going to design my own retracts, but if someone else has
already got a set built that would fit my needs i would be more than happy
to capitalize lol.
