Robin, Yes, The plans call for 1 layer from the front edge of the main spare 
aft and then 2 layers from the back edge of the main spare wrapped over the 
leading edge about 3 the inches. After talking to several builders at the 
Gathering, I believe that most builders have used 2 layers on the aft as well. 
One layer on the aft is going to make for a very fragile wing surface. It is 
definitely a weight gain but should make the wing more resistant to hanger 
rash, de-lamination, etc. But then again, This is just my opinion and I have 
yet to fly my 2 layer wing.
