I am in the process of sanding my wings & laying up the glass.

I read the manual to be sure of the process. 10.16 in the manual. Apply one BID
layup aft of the main spar, with good contact to both bare wood spars. The area
forward of the main spar will require two BID layups. Overlap the aft area
layup at least 2" and extend the layup around the leading edge approximately 3"
above chord line. You will have approximately 6" of leading edge three on each
side of chord line, covered with 4 layers.

My interpretation of this is to layup from the front of the front spar to the
trailing edge of the wing with one layer of BID then layup from 2" rear of the
front spar to around the leading edge with 2 layers of BID.

This would give 3 layers over the front spar. If this is correct what is the
reasoning behind this or what did others do.

Many thanks for your reply
