You should have no problem getting it certified, if it passes 
inspection, but you would not be able to obtain the "mechanics 
license" for that airplane unless you completed the majority of the 
construction.  You can still perform all required maintenance but 
will need someone with at least an A&P license to perform / sign off 
the annual.  I would not recommend your trying to convince the Fed's 
that you built the airplane just to obtain the "mechanics 
license".  If they find out differently they won't treat you kindly.
