On my Cherokee there is an alternate vacuum source which consists of a valve tapped into one of the intake runners. It works well and I wonder if this would work equally as well as a primary vacuum source on other aircraft. Just a thought.

Why not forget the pump and use a Venturi? Anyone know of a good reason not to use a Venturi? Anyone know of someone using one on a KR?
