The only reason I can see for staying at a hotel instead of camping at Oshkosh, the gathering, or Sun and Fun is if you have to take your wife to be allowed to go and she refuses to camp.
Of course if that is your reason you need to reconsider your priorities. After all, you build a KR to keep forever.
