I failed to mention in the earlier post that my right side glass is removable
with the two emergency latches (one seen in the photo at
http://mysite.verizon.net/flesner/grin.jpg ). Actually it is the
entire right side
panel that is removable, not just the glass.
The right side panel is secured at the top with three 3/16" bolts with nuts
buried in the panel assembly. These nuts are very close to the top edge
and, with a 50 / 1 leverage and the bottom latches open, The panel should
snap out like a piece of broken glass. My gullwing door would not open as
easily as it opens up approx 2/3 of the top. I would have to physically break
it to exit if the KR lands on it's top. Carrying a sharp pointed tool to break
the Plexiglass in case of roll over should not be consider foolish.
