I am interested in this discussion, as I have raised my thrust line 5" above plans to fit a Vernermotor, which has a built in PSRU. This motor is 80 HP, weighs 135 lb, and turns a 72" prop at 2,300, and I am interested to hear if any similar variations are flying, and if any adverse characteristics have been experienced. Because of the lighter engine, I have moved the prop flange 6" forward of plans, and I have added 4" in depth on top of the top longeron from the header tank to the rear turtle deck, giving me good headroom in the cockpit. I would like to hear of similar alterations that have been successful for a larger prop diameter. Peter Wastney
