KR> landing plates holes

  good morning gentlemen, a small heads up,( and this may have been 
covered) when bolting the composite legs to the dan dihiel  aluminum 
casting, the casting surface must be flat. i have a an4-15a with a 
slight bend on the start of the thread due to this. quick fix. .. 
take a wood spade bit 1/2",  either solder,weld, glue, what ever you 
care to use to build up the center point to over 1/4" then turn down 
in lathe so it is the pilot for the hole ,insert and lightly skim 
surface, making sure to stay in line with hole..  my 2cents worth....
